I just got back from a great weekend in Sisters, Oregon. I was a speaker at this conference, along with another man named Dan Mayhew from Portland. We actually made a good team. He has posted our messages on his website where you can go listen to the mp3s. Check it out at www.tween2worlds.us
I made some great new friends this weekend. Thanks to everyone in the central Oregon region that were so welcoming and made my trip so very enjoyable.
Peace.

Freezing in 90 degree weather

I just have to say that I had a really wonderful time in Dallas this past Labor Day Weekend. I was part of the National House Church Conference sponsored by House2House. I didn`t really see Dallas since the conference kept us all busy. However, I got to know the inside of the Adam’s Mark hotel fairly well. It surprised me that, as a Canadian who is accustomed to the cold, I practically froze to death all weekend. They kept the air conditioning up very high. All in all though, it went very well. I made some new friends and actually received quite a lot from the speakers at the conference. I am very grateful that I was invited to be a part of it. My thanks goes out to Tony and Felicity Dale for taking a gamble on me and giving me freedom to be me.

My taxi is coming

The hour is late. It`s the night before I travel do Dallas to participate in the House2house National House Church Conference . I still have to pack. My taxi is coming at 6 am. What an ungodly hour. I didn`t even know that time existed! I`ll be okay though, I usually sleep on the plane. I don`t know what it is about planes. The minute I find my seat and buckle in, I`m out like a light. I just fall asleep. I doze off in Winnipeg and a few moments later, with saliva hanging from the corner of my mouth, I wake up in Dallas TX. It’s remarkable.
I`m going to be really busy this weekend – helping coordinate the conference, speaking at main sessions, and doing workshops in the afternoons. It should be a good time.
Last word before I go – Don`t forget to buy Jesus Has Left the Building for only $12 this weekend (and this includes free shipping). When I get back from my trip on Monday, this special offer will be over.
Anyway, have a great Labor Day weekend! I`ll blog again after my trip. Until then.
